Manchester United suffered their worst home performance in the Premier League in six years as Southampton continued their impressive form to bag all three points at Old Trafford.
Louis van Gaal’s side, who have now collected the exact same amount of points as David Moyes’ team did in 21 league games last season, failed to register a single shot on target in the 1-0 defeat – the first time that has happened at home since May 2009.
The Saints took full advantage and finally took the lead their performance deserved after 69 minutes when Dusan Tadic calmly slotted in from the edge of the box after Graziano Pelle’s effort had come back off the post.
Work to do on the training pitch for Robin van Persie, Angel Di Maria, Wayne Rooney and co., it seems…
