Robin van Persie claims he does not know whether he will be offered a new contract by Manchester United, with the striker's current deal having less than 18 months left to run.
Van Persie was a huge hit in his first season at United when he joined from Arsenal in 2013, firing in 30 goals as the Red Devils claimed the Premier League title.
However, the goals have dried up since then, managing 26 over the last 18 months, while injuries have restricted his game time.
While the 31-year-old is a firm favourite with United boss Louis van Gaal it remains to be seen how much long the Netherlands international will remain at Old Trafford.
Van Persie's current deal is due to expire at the end of the 2015/16 season and he is in the dark as to whether he will be offered an extension.
"It is not up to me. For the moment I am staying here for 18 months," said the Dutchman.
"That is it really. I can't look into the future.
"I don't know what is going to happen after that. We shall have to wait and see."
