Newcastle will attempt to make 5 wins against Chelsea

Newcastle attempt to make it 5 wins in 7 against Chelsea on Saturday but Jose Mourinho has taken a major strop ahead of the match.

Not the most gracious of losers when ten man Newcastle won 2-1 in December, the Chelsea boss has reacted even worse to a perceived ‘campaign’ against both himself and the London club.

Jose Mourinho has refused to perform his usual press duties for the Newcastle match and will be missing when Chelsea’s pre-match press conference takes place later today, with assistant Steve Holland expected to stand in for the absent blues boss.

Mourinho’s absence is in protest to the FA charging him for comments he made about referee Anthony Taylor after the recent draw with Southampton.

The Chelsea manager was unhappy that Fabregas was booked for a dive, a decision which he said was..;

“The result of something that looks like a campaign, match after match coaches are telling Chelsea players are diving. I will go to the referee and wish him a good year and tell him he will be ashamed.”
