Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he still thinks about Manchester United.
The now three-time Ballon d'Or winner left Old Trafford for the Bernabeu in a then-world record deal in the summer of 2009.
Despite penning a new long-term deal in the Spanish capital only last year Ronaldo has been consistently linked with a big money move back to Manchester one day.
And speaking in Zurich as he picked up his world player of the year gong the 29-year-old conceded he still holds his former club in high esteem.
"I think about Manchester United," he said. "The beginning of my career was there, that’s where I started.
"I know the fans are there supporting me."
