Chelsea HIJACK City's £30m move for Swansea star Wilfried Bony

Chelsea have reportedly made a last-ditch bid to beat Manchester City to the signing of Swansea striker Wilfried Bony.

City have been in advanced negotiations to sign Bony this week, with the player’s agent admitting the deal should be completed ‘in the next few days’.

But with a fee yet to be agreed, the Daily Star says Chelsea are trying to hijack the transfer and bring Bony to Stamford Bridge instead.

Swansea want exactly £30million for their star striker, and while the Blues do have Diego Costa and Loic Remy, Didier Drogba is expected to leave, clearing space for the Ivorian.
