The Reds, resplendent in red, and Ludogorets, in all green, meant fans with red-green colour blindness had no clue who was who during the Anfield clash
Liverpool's return to the Champions League left some colour-blind fans in the dark.
Brendan Rodgers' side, resplendent in their iconic red, took on Bulgarian champions Ludogorets, in green, on Tuesday night.
But viewers with red-green colour blindness were left baffled with both teams seeming to look the same.
"Given up watching the Liverpool match, 20 players in the same kit for the colour blind amongst us," said Phil Whitehead.
Andrew King tweeted: "Being colour blind and watching this Liverpool game is just not fair. I can't tell who has the ball!!"
Elliot Heard added: "Green pitch green kit red kit all look the same. It's just floating heads."
Thankfully, for Reds fans at least, the players on the pitch knew what was going on, a late Steven Gerrard penalty saving the home side's blushes in a 2-1 win.
