Manchester United defender Patrice Evra will officially be confirmed as a new Juventus player on Monday after reportedly agreeing a two-year contract with the Serie A side.
According to Italian publication Gazetta dello Sport, Evra agreed personal terms with Juve after the Italian champions and the Red Devils finalised a deal for the France international, and will now be revealed as a new Juve player on Monday.
The 33-year-old – who has been on holiday in Los Angeles following Les Bleus’ World Cup campaign in Brazil – only signed a one-year contract extension with United in May.
However, after the Premier League side bought left-back Luke Shaw for £30m from Southampton, the club have decided to let Evra leave after being deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford for next season.
