Liverpool WILL accept Luis Suarez transfer for £80m

Price is right: Rodgers will sell if Barca meet Suarez's valuation straight up or with cash plus Sanchez

Liverpool will sell Luis Suarez to Barcelona for £80million - and buy Benfica's Lazar Markovic with the windfall.

The Reds are prepared to offload striker Suarez following his four-month ban from all football for biting Italy's Georgio Chiellini at the World Cup this week - but only if Barca meet their valuation.

The Spanish giants' new coach Luis Enrique says he still wants the Uruguayan bad boy, comparing him to former Nou Camp firebrand Hristo Stoickhov.

The Reds, who are already speaking to the Catalan giants about acquiring Chile World Cup star Alexis Sanchez, will do business and bankroll manager Brendan Rodgers to rebuild their attack.

Nou signing? Will Barcelona part with Sanchez and £50m to get Suarez?

Liverpool would take Sanchez in part exchange for Suarez if Barcelona also pay £50m, to meet their overall asking price.

Rodgers' main target, though, is Markovic. He is a long-time admirer of the Serbia international winger.

Markovic, 20, has a £20million buy-out clause in his contract and is understood to be keen on a move to Anfield.

They are prepared to loan him back to the French club for next season if a deal can be done now.
