Cesc Fabregas Deal: Chelsea to Deny Arsenal Payoff


Chelsea are attempting to sign Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas in a deal which would deny the Blues' Premier League rivals Arsenal from receiving any payoff for their former player.

The Gunners have first refusal on the Spaniard but seem not to have taken the chance to bring Fabregas back to North London.

However, they are reportedly entitled to 50 percent of any profit the Catalan club make on the 27-year-old, per Matt Law in the Telegraph.

Chelsea are attempting to structure a deal that would prevent the Emirates outfit from receiving any money at all from the fee they pay for Fabregas.
