Liverpool are reportedly set to make a £50million bid for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema as they look to solve their striker problems.
The Reds need to add more fire power to their ranks in the new year, with Brendan Rodgers’ side struggling for goals this term.
And reports suggest Liverpool have decided to turn to Madrid ace Benzema to solve the goalscoring issues, with a £50million bid set to go in. Per Jamie Sanderson for Metro.co.uk
Madrid do not want to sell the Frenchman in January but it is hoped the giant offer could tempt them into doing business.
Liverpool have also been linked with the likes of Swansea striker Wilfried Bony and Porto ace Jackson Martinez.
