Tottenham Fans Mock United: As only Fools and Horses parody T-Shirts

Tottenham’s merchandise vendors have stuck the boot further into Manchester United’s suffering stars by mocking them up as Only Fools and Horses characters on T-Shirts for sale outside White Hart Lane.

Seemingly not content with simply laughing at United’s current plight, some entrepreneurial Spurs fans have tried to cash in by grafting the faces of Louis van Gaal, Wayne Rooney and Angel Di Maria onto the iconic images of Del Boy, Rodney and Uncle Albert from the hit BBC comedy.

Accompanying the ‘Only Fools and Man United’ image is the caption; ‘This time next year, we’ll be champions’ – a reference to the Trotters’ misguided belief that one day they’ll be millionaires.

However, Spurs fans will be hoping the joke doesn’t end up being on them, because as we all know *spoiler alert*, the Trotters do actually go on to make their millions.
